An all-American, natural-born athlete with an edgy flair for fashion and the knack to spark conversation with anyone, Tim Burke is a professional long drive golfer and 2013 RE/MAX World Long Drive Cham-pion who is creating an influential buzz in and out of the golf world. Prior to being crowned 2013 RE/MAX World Long Drive Champion with a record-winning drive of 427 yards, Burke was the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive Runner Up. Most recently, he became the 2014 Bluff City Shootout Champion in June after making a 354-yard-shot. With his eye for precision and strength for control and speed, Burke earned a spot on the varsity base-ball team as a pitcher at the University of Miami. During his collegiate years, Burke participated in the ACC Baseball Championship and College World Series in 2008. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Tim focused his athletic abilities on golf and honed his strength and talent toward Long Drive. It was in 2009 when Burke competed in his first Long Drive competition. Working his way through local and regional qualifiers, he won a spot at the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship in his first year of competition. Successively, he joined the Long Drive Tour and competed at tour events with the support of Krank Golf. In his response to a rewarding full-time job offer in finance in 2010, Burke relocated from Florida to Washington, D.C. while simultaneously participating in the Long Drive Tour. In 2011, Burke gained his first major success at the LDA Mile High Shootout where he placed third overall. In 2012, he placed third at the LDA Tennessee Shootout and was also named LDA Tour Champion.
